Skip Arnold

by greater-la

Skip Arnold was born in Binghamton, New York, and received a BFA from State University College at Buffalo, followed by an MFA from UCLA. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Arnold promptly put his prize toward sailing into the Bermuda Triangle; his practice of film, activities, performance, and self-as-installation consistently takes on the constraints of risk, preservation, and audience impunity. His work has been exhibited and performed at Art|33|Basel, Switzerland; Roberts and Tilton, Los Angeles; David Zwirner, New York, and elsewhere.
